Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) Online Course

The course covers the necessary knowledge to enable the trainee to undertake the duties and responsibilities of the Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO), according to the requirements of the relevant international legislation. By the end of this course, participants will be able to perform duties of a Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) or Assistant PFSO, as defined in section A/2.1.8 and section A/17.1 of the ISPS Code. Our PFSO course is prepared according to the requirements included in the IMO model course 3.21 for Port Facility Security Officer. Gain the skills and knowledge necessary to take on PFSO duties and responsibilities as defined in the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.

Duration

Evaluation

Prerequisite skills & knowledge:

  • Basic knowledge of port operations and basic security awareness on Port Facilities.
  • Familiarization with ISPS code is recommended.
