Georgetown, Guyana – January 11, 2025 – Green State Oil and Gas Services Inc. announces the launch of its flagship initiative, ProjectHer Guyana, which will be hosted on March 29, 2025, at the Pegasus Suites Exhibition Centre, Georgetown, Guyana.

 

This year’s event features a one-day workshop held under the theme ‘Recognising and Inspiring HER in the field of Project Management’ and will encompass the transfer of knowledge and experiences from women adept in the field both locally and internationally. This workshop aims to engage the audience in key areas such as building a career in project management, the art of negotiation, and leadership with impact, all geared towards equipping women with the tools to lead and excel in Project Management and breaking gender biases.

ProjectHer Guyana is the vision of the Managing Director of Green State Oil and Gas Services Inc., Mr. Eusi Evelyn, who revealed that the initiative was birthed to recognize the contributions of women in the field of project management, meanwhile, inspiring the upcoming generation of female project managers.

Mr. Evelyn stated that, “We want to change the landscape and the notion about women when it comes to project management. We intend to change that dynamic and influence the success of women one project at a time.”

The objective of Project Her Guyana is to provide a supportive environment where women can explore strategies to overcome challenges in the industry, celebrate their successes, connect with other professionals, and develop their skills.
